My family and I suffered a terrible house fire in 2019. Due to a dryer malfunction while my family was away our basement was nearly engulfed with flames and the rest of our home was greatly affected by smoke damage. The months surrounding that time had us working with several companies who we entrusted our home and belongings. None of which took more care with contents of our home than the team at Clarus.

From the very first meeting to the last encounter they treated us and our belongings with extreme care. Each and every team member was respectful and kind.

As I look around our home today, two years later, I see so many items that Clarus restored for us. Items that hold sentimental value as well as toys and personal items that made it feel like home again for my children. Both my husband and I recall that time in our lives and cite Clarus as the company we couldn’t have made it through without.

We had to move out for 3 months for a remodel after a lightning strike to our home. Clarus came and packed out all our belongings quickly and efficiently. They stored everything safely and returned it 3 months later to its original location, damage free, exactly as it was before the lightning strike.  They also cleaned the curtains and some upholstery while they had it. We didn’t have to lift a finger. Fast, professional, and friendly staff. I highly recommend this company if you find yourself in a similar situation.

It was a pleasure working with Clarus for a year now. The tornado brought us many bad memories but working with you was one of the best experiences this past year.

Starting from the week after the tornado happened, the team came in and was very professional, kind, and sympathetic and took care of all our household items like it was their own.

We are very impressed with the quality of the cleaning Clarus did and how easy it was to communicate and follow up with the team. I never had to fight with you guys for anything (it seems like we had to fight with everyone else during this rebuild). You guys were always responsive and addressed our concerns promptly. We were suspicious about how our items would come back, but we were pleasantly surprised how clean they came.

The crew that came out to move back our stuff was exceptional. They went the extra mile to make sure that our lives are back together without much hassle for us. The Knoxville team was very kind, professional, and sweet. They went above and beyond to make us feel good.

I write to enthusiastically to commend and applaud the pack out work of your crew in the kitchen of my home. Most efficiently led by Ms. Jessica Chapman, this team of four arrived promptly on site at the scheduled hour of 8:00am and had completed the job by 11:30am in the most dazzling display of cooperative proficiency I have ever seen.

The performance was almost military in its precision, and Ms. Chapman’s quiet command of the project a model of experienced leadership. And the cordiality, the graciousness of the crew towards me, and their informed address to my many questions, quieted the anxiety with which I’d approached the morning’s work. They actually involved me in the decision-making process, honoring my preferences for placements of the relocated materials while also observing the regulation governing their assignments.

Their expert training was everywhere evident, particularly in the care they took in wrapping and moving fragile items; and the meticulousness of their mapping and tracking for easy re-placement was singularly impressive. Please know that I am deeply grateful for the respect each crew member showed towards me and my property, the swift efficiency of the entire operation, and the professional attitude and temperament your team brought to the task.
